This Saturday the 16th of June, Carlos Moro, the president of Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, awarded the Spanish orchestral conductor, Inma Shara, with Matarromera’s Gold Insignia “for her dedication and commitment to Spanish classical music, her international renown and her management and leadership skills”. The award ceremony took place at Bodega Renacimiento, Matarromera’s winery based in Olivares de Duero, within the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (DO), at an exclusive event attended by a variety of authorities and figures related to the region’s cultural sphere, as well as members of the Mattaromera board of directors and the media.
Inma Shara is one of Spain’s most talented orchestral conductors, having conducted the greatest Spanish symphony orchestras and collaborated with some of the best in the world, such as the Philharmonic Orchestras of London and Israel, the National Symphony Orchestras of Russia, Rome, Taiwan, Milan, Latvia and the Czech Republic, the London Royal Philharmonic, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Switzerland, and many others. Furthermore, she has collaborated with internationally acclaimed soloists such as Mischa Maisky, Boris Berezovsky and Shlomo Mintz, among others, and has been bestowed with numerous major awards, such as the 2009 European Excellence Award, the 2014 People Management Award, and is a Spain Brand Honorary Ambassador.
The Matarromera Gold Insignia is the highest distinction that the company from Valladolid awards to various figures from within business, political, gastronomical and cultural spheres who have carried out remarkable work in the development of a region, country or in the growth of a particular sector.
