The regional news bulletins of La Rioja opened with a segment on our winery in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Its team travelled to the facilities of Bodega Carlos Moro to film one of the vineyards that has been recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food as an Outstanding Vineyard of the Rioja DOCa (Qualified Designation of Origin). This is Viña Garugele, a hundred-year-old gobelet-trained vineyard that Carlos Moro himself selected to produce one of the wines for his most personal collection: Carlos Moro Viña Garugele. Carlos Moro only has good things to say about this tempranillo wine: “It is a wine of exceptional quality, rich, intense, tasty, long, with mineral notes,” he says. In addition to exploring and filming the vineyard, TV Rioja also interviewed the head of the Rioja winery, Sergio Gurucharri, who explained in the video the distinguishing characteristics of Carlos Moro’s most personal project.
